Migration and Asylum Minister Thanos Pleuris is in Rome today to meet with his counterparts from Italy and Spain, as well as the relevant minister from Pakistan.

The main objective of this meeting is the reduction of illegal migration flows and the enhancement of returns to Pakistan.

This initiative is part of a broader series of contacts with ministers from countries of origin of migration flows, aiming to strengthen cooperation at all levels and to more effectively manage illegal migration.
