West Bank attack leaves 4 wounded – Assailant killed

A vehicle attack at Gush Etzion junction south of Jerusalem injured four people, two seriously, before Israeli forces killed the perpetrator at the scene.

What happened at the Gush Etzion junction

The vehicle struck pedestrians at the junction, which is located in an area with historically high tensions within the West Bank.

Rescuers from the Magen David Adom service rushed to the scene and provided first aid before transporting the victims to nearby hospitals. Two of the injured remained conscious despite the severity of their injuries.

According to information from sources close to the incident, among the wounded is a 17-year-old girl with serious injuries to her limbs, as well as a 15-year-old with a facial injury.

Perpetrator neutralized at the scene

Israeli security forces announced that the perpetrator was killed on the spot, though full details about his identity have not yet been released. The Israeli military is conducting an investigation into the exact circumstances of the incident, which is being treated as a possible terrorist attack, although no one has yet claimed responsibility.
