Trump-Hating ‘No Kings’ Group Plans Concert on His 80th Birthday
A left-wing group called "No Kings" is hosting a concert on June 14th featuring celebrities like Bette Midler and Jane Fonda to protest President Trump on his 80th birthday.
The group, calling itself “No Kings,” announced plans for what it describes as a Rise Up, Sing Out concert at Town Hall in New York City, according to Breitbart News. The event will feature a lineup of prominent left-wing entertainers and media figures including Rufus Wainwright, Bette Midler, Patti Smith, Sasha Allen, MSNBC host Joy Reid, and actress Jane Fonda.
On its website, the organization framed the event as part of a broader narrative battle as the nation approaches its 250th anniversary. “No Kings” claims Americans face a choice between what it characterizes as “strongman politics and corruption” and a vision of citizens uniting “across race, background, identity, belief, and community” to defend rights and build what the group calls “people power.”
This marks the latest in a series of coordinated anti-Trump activities deliberately timed to the President’s birthday. In 2025, activists organized another demonstration in Washington, DC on June 14th. The Satanic Temple also purposefully opened a telehealth abortion facility in Maine on Trump’s birthday, mockingly naming it the “President’s Yuge Most Beautiful Tremendous Satanic Abortion Clinic.”
The “No Kings” movement gained momentum in October 2024, when the Democrat fundraising apparatus accelerated efforts to support related protests. According to reporting by Breitbart News, Democrat donors and anti-Israel groups were financing the demonstrations.
A Fox News investigation revealed that left-wing billionaire George Soros was allegedly funding several groups leading “No Kings” events. As Breitbart News reported, while “No Kings” presents itself as a grassroots movement of concerned Americans speaking with “one voice,” evidence suggests it operates as an astroturf campaign orchestrated by well-funded political organizations.
Despite the group’s public commitment to what it calls “morally grounded, nonviolent direct actions,” incidents of aggressive behavior have emerged at its gatherings. Matthew Perdie, a video producer for Breitbart News, was physically shoved and verbally threatened earlier this year while covering a “No Kings” protest in Pennsylvania. When Perdie attempted to speak with an elderly protester, another individual threatened him with death.
As he approaches his milestone birthday, President Trump reported this week that he “checked out perfectly” during his most recent physical examination at Walter Reed Military Medical Center, as Breitbart News confirmed.
