About

Union populaire républicaine (UPR) is a sovereigntist party founded in 2007 by François Asselineau, built almost entirely around the goal of French withdrawal from the EU, NATO and the eurozone ('Frexit'). It describes itself as neither left nor right and has never won a seat in the National Assembly or European Parliament.
