About

Debout la France (DLF) is a Gaullist, national-conservative and Eurosceptic party founded in 2008 by Nicolas Dupont-Aignan, who has led it ever since. The party has long championed French sovereignty and a hard line against EU integration, positioning itself as neither strictly left nor right. Dupont-Aignan lost the National Assembly seat he had held since 1997 in the July 2024 snap election, leaving DLF without parliamentary representation.

Nicolas Dupont-Aignan has led Debout la France since founding it in 2008, after beginning his political career within the Gaullist RPR/UMP tradition. He ran for the French presidency in 2012, 2017 and 2022, and was re-elected mayor of Yerres in March 2026. He remains a prominent voice for French sovereigntism despite his party's lack of current parliamentary seats.
