According to New York Post, the FBI uncovered a multi-phase attack scheme aimed at Sunday’s UFC Freedom 250 event, which coincided with President Trump’s 80th birthday celebration and drew approximately 4,300 attendees, including 1,200 active-duty service members.

The alleged terror plan involved deploying explosive drones to strike buildings near the event venue, officials told Fox News Digital. The attackers reportedly intended to trigger mass panic, driving crowds into the line of fire of positioned sniper teams. Following this, a second wave of assailants was set to breach the White House gates.

Swift Federal Response

Federal authorities first became aware of the plot on June 10 and moved quickly to execute a search warrant in Cincinnati, where the initial arrest took place. Several alleged conspirators then traveled to Fredericksburg, Virginia between June 12 and 13 to finalize preparations for the assault.

Investigators examining a suspect’s iPhone discovered at least 23 users on the encrypted messaging platform Signal discussing operational details of what could have become a catastrophic attack in the nation’s capital.

Targeting Conservative Values and Pro-Israel Support

One suspect revealed to investigators that the attack aimed to target capitalist elites, billionaires, and politicians who receive funding from the American Israel Public Affairs Committee (AIPAC), as New York Post reports.

FBI Director Kash Patel confirmed the arrests, stating that rapid coordination between federal agencies and the Department of Justice across multiple states led to suspects being taken into custody and the alleged attacks being stopped before execution.

The disrupted plot underscores ongoing threats against high-profile national events and the administration’s allies, particularly those supporting Israel.
