YouTube Star Ms. Rachel Backs Socialist Who Called 9/11 Inevitable

A popular children’s content creator has thrown her support behind a Denver congressional candidate who previously described the September 11 terror attacks as an inevitable consequence of American foreign policy.
Ms. Rachel, who commands a massive following among parents of young children, used her Instagram Story to promote Melat Kiros, a Democratic Socialist running for Congress in Colorado, according to Breitbart News. The endorsement included two campaign advertisements for Kiros that called to “end the genocide” in reference to Israel’s military operations in Gaza.
Kiros has previously sparked controversy for comments suggesting both the 9/11 attacks and the October 7 Hamas massacre of Israeli civilians were predictable outcomes of U.S. and Israeli military actions in the Middle East.
During a June 22 interview with Colorado’s Next 9News, Kiros was questioned about statements she made while appearing on the show of far-left Twitch streamer Hasan Piker. In that appearance, she characterized the Hamas terror attack against Israel as “an inevitable consequence of apartheid, of occupation, decades of occupation,” as Breitbart News reports.
While Kiros denied suggesting Israel “had it coming,” she maintained that understanding the “conditions” leading to the terror attack was important context.
Ms. Rachel’s political activism comes months after she faced intense scrutiny over an antisemitism controversy. The incident began when the content creator, an outspoken Palestinian supporter, posted a message calling to free various countries including Iran, Congo, Sudan, and Palestine. Users quickly noticed her account had “liked” a comment from a Slovak user stating “Free America from the Jews.”

When a follower alerted Ms. Rachel to the situation, she claimed the interaction was accidental. The follower wrote asking her to check a comment under her latest post that said “free American from the Jews” which appeared to have been liked by the author.
Ms. Rachel responded that she had deleted the comment, adding that she hates antisemitism. She later explained in the post’s caption that she “was just tapping” and believed the comment had been deleted.
The backlash prompted Ms. Rachel to release a tearful video apology. In the emotional recording, she explained she had accidentally selected “like and hide” instead of simply deleting the comment. She emphasized her opposition to antisemitism, citing Jewish family members and friends.
The children’s entertainer expressed frustration with the incident, lamenting that people “can’t be human anymore online.” She apologized for any confusion and noted her age as a factor in the technical error, saying she is “not as good with touching things online” and has accidentally liked content before.
