The Pakistani leader indicated that both nations have agreed to an immediate and permanent cessation of military operations across all theaters, including Lebanon. The announcement marks a significant shift in U.S.-Iran relations after years of heightened tensions in the region.
Trump had previously announced on Saturday that the peace deal would be signed on Sunday, ahead of an Ultimate Fighting Championship event hosted at the White House.
