Mi Hazánk
About
Mi Hazánk Mozgalom (Our Homeland Movement) was founded in 2018 by former Jobbik members who rejected that party's moderation. It occupies the hardline nationalist right in Hungary, combining ethnic Hungarian nationalism, anti-immigration politics, opposition to liberal social policies, and pro-Russian foreign policy positions. The party holds seats in the National Assembly and in the European Parliament under the ESN group.
Wikipedia ↗Leadership
László Toroczkai co-founded Mi Hazánk and has led it since 2018. A former mayor of Ásotthalom, he gained notoriety for personally patrolling Hungary's border with Serbia during the 2015 migration crisis. He represents the openly ultranationalist wing of Hungarian politics, maintaining positions well to the right of Fidesz.
