According to New York Post, Seymour, who starred as Solitaire alongside Roger Moore in the 1973 Bond film Live and Let Die, disclosed details about her enduring connections within the franchise while speaking to reporters at the 33rd Annual Race to Erase MS Gala in Century City, California.

The actress stated she maintains strong relationships with various Bond actors, noting that she recently spent time with Brosnan in Hawaii where the pair engaged in painting together. The friendship is particularly notable given that Seymour and Brosnan never actually appeared in a Bond film together during his tenure as the superspy.

Seymour even floated the idea of a Bond-themed art program, suggesting the franchise might consider a painting show featuring Bond actors and Bond girls.

When pressed on the perennial question of who should succeed Daniel Craig as the next James Bond, Seymour acknowledged she lacks insider knowledge on the matter, despite being asked repeatedly.

Brosnan, who portrayed 007 in four films including GoldenEye, Tomorrow Never Dies, The World Is Not Enough, and Die Another Day, has been part of Seymour’s social circle for decades. The actress previously told reporters in 2024 that she first met Brosnan when his late wife Cassandra Harris was still alive, likely in Malibu.

The friendship deepened over the years through their shared Malibu neighborhood and their children attending the same schools. Seymour revealed that both she and Brosnan have discussed collaborating on a professional project, though scheduling has prevented such plans from materializing thus far.

Art remains their primary creative connection, with Seymour attending Brosnan’s art exhibitions and the two painting together when time allows.

Seymour announced at Friday’s gala that she will be mounting a solo art exhibition in New Jersey featuring over one hundred pieces spanning various media including pen and ink, watercolors, pastels, oils, acrylics, and sculpture. She credited painting with providing crucial emotional healing during a difficult period in her life approximately 35 years ago.
