The DHS issued a stark public message on social media declaring that deportation flights have hit a record high, according to Breitbart News. The announcement came in response to reporting by the Washington Examiner documenting the scale of enforcement operations under the current administration.

The Department emphasized that the American people delivered a clear mandate to the Trump administration to apprehend and remove criminal illegal aliens from the United States. Under President Trump and DHS Secretary Markwayne Mullin, the agency pledged to continue delivering on that directive.

Flight operations have intensified dramatically in recent months. Data from Human Rights First shows that the administration conducted approximately 296 deportation flights in May alone, more than doubling the 126 flights executed during Trump’s first complete month in office following his January 20, 2025 inauguration.

The DHS issued an unambiguous warning to illegal aliens currently in the country: depart immediately or face arrest and deportation.

Acting ICE Director David Venturella confirmed the removal figures in early June, stating that DHS has expelled over 900,000 aliens from the nation since the start of the Trump presidency. Breitbart News first reported Venturella’s confirmation.

Immigration and Customs Enforcement has pursued all available methods to escalate deportation numbers, with criminals being removed daily, Venturella explained. He highlighted that during the second week of May, the most serious offenders deported included convicted murderers and individuals found guilty of sexually assaulting children.

The Acting Director affirmed that ICE would not halt operations until it fulfills President Trump’s mandate to restore safety to America.
