Breitbart’s economics editor weighed in on recent currency discussions during a Friday broadcast, suggesting the proposal in question may be part strategic positioning and part political theater.

John Carney, speaking on “The Alex Marlow Show,” offered his analysis of a currency-related development, according to Breitbart News. While acknowledging the formal nature of the proposal, Carney questioned its ultimate seriousness.

It could be real in that, like, they proposed it, but it might just be an epic troll, Carney stated during the broadcast.

The comments reflect ongoing debates in conservative circles about monetary policy and international financial maneuvering, with observers attempting to distinguish between genuine policy shifts and tactical positioning.

“The Alex Marlow Show” is hosted by Breitbart Editor-in-Chief Alex Marlow and broadcasts nationwide on weekdays from noon to 1 p.m. Eastern Time via the Salem Radio Network. The program is also available for streaming online and airs again at 9 p.m. Eastern on the Salem TV news channel.

A podcast version of the show is released weekdays at 9 p.m. Eastern and can be accessed through multiple platforms including YouTube, Rumble, Apple Podcasts, and Spotify.
