California Terror Ring’s Plot Against Freedom 250 Exposed
Federal authorities have identified California man Michael Alan Thomas as the alleged mastermind behind a thwarted terror plot targeting a UFC event on the White House lawn in June.
Michael Alan Thomas of Pinon Hills is accused of serving as one of the primary planners in a conspiracy to launch a coordinated drone and sniper attack against UFC Freedom 250, according to New York Post.
Prosecutors allege Thomas used the online handle “Whiskey Six Amerika” to distribute tactical guidance to co-conspirators as they developed plans for an assault on the June 14 event, which was attended by President Trump and other senior officials.
Teen Informant Identifies Ring Leader
According to the federal criminal complaint, Tycen Proper, a 19-year-old Ohio resident arrested in connection with the plot, informed investigators that Thomas held a leadership position in the conspiracy and supplied critical intelligence during the planning phase.
Federal agents examining Proper’s mobile device discovered a Signal user identified as “whiskey_six(CA) {Amerika}” among the group of alleged conspirators and subsequently connected the account to Thomas, prosecutors state.
The alleged plotters communicated through an encrypted Signal chat labeled “Hunters,” where members exchanged detailed attack blueprints and escape strategies, according to court documents.
Drone Strikes and Sniper Positions
Prosecutors say the group shared overhead imagery and maps of Washington, D.C., including the White House complex, and discussed optimal sniper locations and drone launch sites.
The conspiracy emerged after Proper’s relatives contacted Ohio authorities with concerns about his recent conduct, firearm acquisitions and involvement with an online faction promoting anti-government ideology.
Investigators subsequently uncovered encrypted communications outlining an attack synchronized with UFC Freedom 250, a major event staged on White House grounds.
The group allegedly intended to deploy explosive-laden drones to generate panic and direct crowds toward predetermined kill zones where shooters would engage high-value targets and fleeing attendees, according to the complaint.
Second California Conspirator Named
Federal authorities also linked Bryan Omar Roa of Yucaipa, California to the alleged conspiracy.
Operating under the encrypted alias “Noble6,” Roa allegedly coordinated with the anti-government cell to facilitate the drone-and-sniper assault against prominent figures at the White House event.
Internal chat records examined by investigators reveal Roa discussing weaponry and tactical equipment, volunteering to contribute funds for gear and exploring methods to evade online detection, the complaint states.
Although Roa informed the FBI he planned to travel to the nation’s capital solely as a demonstrator, his relatives told investigators he cautioned them that they would one day wake to find him gone and that something significant would occur in Washington, D.C.
Roa’s cross-country journey terminated unexpectedly when his vehicle malfunctioned in Barstow, forcing his return to Southern California, where federal agents later raided his residence and confiscated an AR-style rifle, a Glock 19 pistol and tactical equipment, court records show.
TikTok Recruitment Pipeline
Proper informed investigators that the group initially enlisted members through TikTok, where users traded videos, images of tactical gear and other materials before transitioning to more secure Signal communications, according to the affidavit.
Proper identified TikTok accounts allegedly affiliated with Thomas and other members of the inner circle.
TikTok accounts appearing to belong to Thomas and Roa use the handles @whiskey_six_actual and @noble_0066, as New York Post reports.
Thomas’ account contains several videos, including one posted in June 2025 showing a military officer firing a machine gun. Other content features gymnastics clips and Call of Duty gameplay footage.
Roa’s account contains no original posts, with a profile picture displaying a black screen obscuring the user’s face.
Both accounts feature reposted videos addressing political topics, including criticism of Trump and support for anti-Israel causes, though Thomas’ political orientation appears inconsistent, with some reposts supporting ICE and military action against Iran.
