Big Tech Elite Still Donating Big to Dems, A.I. Expert Warns
Breitbart News raised concerns about Anthropic's leadership ties to the Effective Altruist Movement, which it claims seeks global control through technology.
Wynton Hall, social media director at Breitbart News and author of Code Red: The Left, the Right, China, and the Race to Control AI, appeared on The Alex Marlow Show Sunday to discuss the controversial AI firm and its ideological underpinnings.
Hall warned that key figures at Anthropic are heavily connected to the Effective Altruist Movement, commonly known as the EA movement. He characterized the movement as composed of individuals who harbor ambitions for worldwide governance.
People at Anthropic are largely at the center of something called the Effective Altruist Movement, Hall explained during the broadcast, adding that this represents a group of people who really do want to have control at a global level.
The remarks highlight growing conservative concern over the concentration of power within major artificial intelligence companies and the political philosophies guiding their development. Anthropic has positioned itself as a leader in AI safety research, but questions about its leadership’s broader ambitions continue to emerge.
The Alex Marlow Show broadcasts weekdays from noon to 1 p.m. Eastern on Salem Radio Network stations nationwide, with additional airings at 9 p.m. Eastern on the Salem TV news channel.
