Alsobrooks Claims Trump Conducting ‘Smash-and-Grab’ on Nation
Maryland Senator Angela Alsobrooks accused President Trump of running a "smash-and-grab" operation benefiting billionaires while working-class families bear costs of conflict and inflation.
Speaking on MSNBC’s “The Beat” on Monday, according to Breitbart News, Senator Alsobrooks launched a sweeping attack on the president’s leadership and his family’s business dealings.
The Maryland Democrat alleged that Trump entered the nation into a war without clear strategic objectives or an exit plan. She claimed to have voted thirteen separate times to bring the conflict to an end.
Alsobrooks argued that American children are dying in the conflict while the president’s own children profit financially. She contended that working-class Americans are shouldering the burden through both casualties and economic hardship, including elevated prices for gasoline, utilities, and groceries.
The senator escalated her rhetoric by characterizing the Trump administration’s conduct as a coordinated enrichment scheme. She alleged that Trump, his family members, and political allies have engaged in what she termed a “smash-and-grab,” with billionaires emerging as the sole beneficiaries of administration policies.
Alsobrooks expressed confidence that voters would reject candidates who she claims are enriching themselves at public expense. She asserted that Americans across the political spectrum are rejecting the current state of affairs and demanding significant change.
