Emmer referenced a HarrisX Poll conducted domestically on July 9-10 among 1,019 registered voters, which revealed Trump-aligned MAGA Republicans lead all political groups in their stated determination to cast ballots in the November 3 congressional elections. Seventy-five percent of MAGA Republicans indicated they would definitely vote in the midterms.
By comparison, traditional Republicans registered 70 percent certainty about voting, while Democrats trailed at 63 percent in their commitment to participate in the upcoming midterm contest.
Speaking on Fox News during Saturday programming, Emmer highlighted the unusual nature of these enthusiasm metrics for a non-presidential election cycle. Typically, voter enthusiasm shows significant gaps during midterm years when no presidential race energizes the electorate.
The Minnesota Republican emphasized that between eight and nine out of every ten MAGA voters plan to participate in November’s congressional races, contradicting two years of predictions that the Trump base would remain dormant without their standard-bearer on the ballot.
