US President Trump harshly rejected Iran’s response to peace talks, condemning Tehran’s demands on the Strait of Hormuz and nuclear program as unacceptable, amid rising tensions and stalled negotiations.

Donald Trump stated that he read Iran’s reply to the American proposal to end the war and categorically rejected it.

In a post on Truth Social, the U.S. president wrote that he did not like at all what he read from the “so-called representatives” of Iran. “I do not like it – IT IS COMPLETELY UNACCEPTABLE!” he emphasized, while also thanking those following the matter.

According to leaks cited by international media such as the Wall Street Journal and Al Mayadeen, Iran responded with a series of demands. Among these were maintaining control over the Strait of Hormuz, lifting the blockade, unlimited oil exports, and the removal of sanctions. It also calls for the release of frozen assets and a ceasefire in Lebanon.

Regarding the nuclear program, Tehran rejects the destruction of its facilities. However, it offers to dilute part of its enriched uranium and to transfer the remainder to a third country, with guarantees for its return in case the talks collapse. The negotiations, it states, should take place through Pakistan, and nuclear discussions will begin only after the end of the war.

Earlier, Trump had attacked Iran, accusing it of playing games with the U.S. for 47 years. His rejection comes at a time when the two sides appear to be heading toward a new deadlock, with no clear indication of how events will unfold.

The information comes from international media and leaks surrounding the Iranian response, while the American president himself made his position clear through his personal platform.
