Mike Pompeo: What Major Blow Would Push Putin to Negotiate?

Ex-Secretary Pompeo argued on Fox News that only intensified Ukrainian strikes, especially on Russian energy infrastructure, alongside sustained Western support, can compel Putin to halt aggression and engage in genuine peace talks.

Pompeo emphasized that Putin has not conceded anything so far. Although he claimed that there is 90% agreement, he questioned whether the Russian leader is willing to give ground on the remaining 10%.

He added that in order to make any progress, Ukrainian forces will need to strike deep into Russian targets, including energy infrastructure. Pompeo highlighted the necessity of continued support from Europe to Ukraine to achieve this goal.
