Gabbard: Fauci Funded Wuhan Lab Research That Sparked COVID
Outgoing Intelligence Director Tulsi Gabbard declassified documents alleging Dr. Anthony Fauci directed taxpayer funds to Wuhan Institute of Virology and misled Congress about COVID-19 origins.
The internal communications demonstrate that the intelligence community routinely deferred to Fauci’s recommendations, while Gabbard’s office has maintained that the Wuhan laboratory is now recognized as the origin point of the COVID-19 pandemic.
Gabbard issued a statement addressing the declassification, noting that the pandemic inflicted immense suffering on millions of Americans and people worldwide. She emphasized that after years of deception, censorship, and concealment, the American people are entitled to transparency, truth, and accountability.
The declassified materials reveal what Gabbard characterized as classic deep state tactics. According to her statement, politically motivated leaders such as Fauci concealed their misconduct and power abuses, manipulated intelligence information, provided false testimony to Congress, and undermined a democratically elected President by limiting his access to critical information.
Gabbard concluded her tenure as director of national intelligence on Thursday. Bill Pulte is set to assume the role as acting director, a transition that has generated controversy among Congressional members, as New York Post reports.
