Four Girls Abused in Halle – Three Migrants Arrested
Police in Halle, Germany are investigating four migrant suspects aged 13 to 16 for the alleged gang rape of four young girls in an apartment, with three arrests made.
According to Junge Freiheit, the incident took place on Saturday evening inside an apartment within a multi-family residential building in the southern part of the city. Three of the suspects have been arrested, while the fourth remains below the age of criminal responsibility under German law.
The suspects reportedly came to Germany from Mali and Portugal. Investigators are examining whether the perpetrators used drugs or alcohol to incapacitate their victims during the assault. Two of the girls are currently receiving treatment in hospital.
Police have declined to release additional details regarding the victims, including their ages, citing both the ongoing nature of the investigation and the need to protect the identities of those affected. Authorities confirmed they are also looking into the potential involvement of date-rape drugs in the attack.
The youngest suspect, at 13 years old, is below Germany’s age of criminal responsibility and therefore cannot be prosecuted under current law. All four individuals have migrant backgrounds.
Investigators continue to examine whether additional persons may have been involved in the alleged assault. The case has drawn attention to ongoing concerns about migrant crime and the protection of minors in Germany.
