Fmr. Ambassador: Iranian Mullahs Will Fund Terror With New Cash
Former U.S. Ambassador to Denmark Carla Sands warned that Iran continues investing in terror networks and underground nuclear facilities designed to withstand military strikes.
Speaking on “The Alex Marlow Show” on Friday, Sands outlined her concerns about the Islamic Republic’s strategic priorities, warning that Tehran would continue to channel resources into terrorist networks and fortified military installations.
The former ambassador specifically highlighted Iran’s construction of heavily reinforced underground facilities designed to shield nuclear weapons development from potential strikes, referencing bunkers built hundreds of feet beneath the surface.
Sands’s remarks underscore ongoing concerns among conservative foreign policy experts about Iran’s dual-track strategy of sponsoring regional terror groups while advancing its nuclear weapons capabilities through hardened facilities largely immune to conventional military action.
