Egyptian Arrested on Syngrou Avenue for Speeding at 72 km/h on Scooter

On May 5, police stopped an Egyptian man riding an electric scooter at nearly triple the legal speed, hitting 72 km/h on Syngrou Avenue while heading toward Piraeus.

The foreign national was in the right lane of the avenue, heading towards Piraeus, when he was stopped by the Hellenic Police (EL.AS.).

According to Law&Order, the rider had exceeded the scooter’s speed limiter, reaching almost triple the allowed speed.
