Ivanka Trump Targeted by Well-Trained Terrorist
A 32-year-old Iraqi terrorist was arrested in Turkey and extradited to the United States for plotting to assassinate Ivanka Trump in revenge for the 2020 American airstrike that killed Iranian commander Qasem Soleimani.
Ivanka Trump became the target of an organized assassination plot by a highly trained Iraqi terrorist, in a case that reveals the reach of a revenge network over the death of Qasem Soleimani.
American authorities continue to investigate the case of 32-year-old Mohammad Baker Saad Dawud Al-Saadi. The Iraqi was arrested in mid-May 2026 in Turkey and was quickly extradited to the United States.
According to evidence that has come to light, Al-Saadi was obsessed with the idea of striking Ivanka Trump in retaliation for the American airstrike that killed Iranian military commander Qasem Soleimani in Baghdad in 2020.
Al-Saadi considered Soleimani a paternal figure. His biological father, Iranian colonel Ahmad Kazemi, had lost his life in an aviation accident in 2006. He grew up in Baghdad with his Iraqi mother, but was sent early to Tehran for training by the Revolutionary Guards’ special forces.
In the hands of the Americans were found detailed blueprints of Ivanka Trump and her husband Jared Kushner’s residence in Florida. The luxury estate, valued at 24 million dollars, had been under close surveillance.
Al-Saadi had posted on an X account a satellite map of the area, accompanied by a threatening message in Arabic. He wrote that neither palaces nor the Secret Service could protect his targets.
His actions were not limited to words. The indictment links him to 18 terrorist acts and attempted attacks in various countries. Among others, these include Molotov cocktail attacks in Amsterdam, shootings at the US consulate in Toronto, arson of a Jewish temple in Rotterdam, stabbing in London, and a bombing attack on a synagogue in Liège, Belgium.
Al-Saadi maintained a travel agency in Baghdad that organized religious pilgrimages, using it as cover for his movements. At the time of his arrest in Turkey, while in transit to Russia, he had with him an Iraqi official passport, which allowed him easy access and bypass of checks.
At the same time, on the side of Baghdad controlled by Iran, leaflets circulated from the “Axis of Resistance” calling for demonstrations demanding his release. Al-Saadi was transferred to the Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn under strict security measures.
Authorities continue to examine the digital traces and his connections with Iranian-Iraqi networks.
