He closed a series of teaser posts made in the previous days with the phrase “Now is the time.” On Saturday, he had written that “March was too early,” while on Sunday he added that “September will be too late.” The timing has now been clearly set.

According to information, the event will take place in Thisio. There, the fundamental principles and structure of the new formation are expected to be presented, which many officials are already gravitating towards.

The move comes at a time of intense internal turmoil within SYRIZA. After the expulsion of Pavlos Polakis from the Parliamentary Group, many have expressed their intention to leave and join the new entity Tsipras is building.

This development is expected to significantly change the landscape of the Greek Left, as the former SYRIZA leader seeks to form a new political presence (clearly centrist) following his departure from the party’s leadership.
