The satirical clip shows the president approaching Colbert during a taping of “The Late Show with Stephen Colbert,” seizing him by his jacket, and depositing him into a green dumpster while the studio audience applauds. Trump then performs his characteristic dance routine to “YMCA” as the scene concludes, the New York Post reported.

The video surfaced following the final broadcast of Colbert‘s program at CBS. In an accompanying social media post, Trump characterized the longtime television personality in harsh terms, stating “No talent, no ratings, no life. He was like a dead person.” The president continued, “You could take any person off of the street and they would be better than this total jerk. Thank goodness he’s finally gone!”
