Thessaloniki: 3 foreigners arrested for stabbing, robbing man
Three foreign nationals aged 17, 20, and 23 were arrested in Thessaloniki for robbing and stabbing a 24-year-old pedestrian, stealing his jacket and phone.
The immediate mobilization of officers from the Crime Prevention and Suppression Department led to the arrest of three individuals for robbery in Thessaloniki.
They are foreign nationals, aged 17, 20, and 23. A case file was formed against them by the White Tower Crime Investigation and Detection Department for robbery by joint perpetration, disobedience, and violation of the weapons law.
As emerged, in the early morning hours of Wednesday, June 17, 2026, the three, along with two other accomplices, approached a 24-year-old foreign pedestrian. After initially engaging him, they subsequently beat him and wounded him with a knife, before taking his jacket and mobile phone.
The arrested individuals will be brought before the competent Prosecutor, according to ERT.
The case was solved thanks to the quick response of the authorities.
