Fauci Texts Reveal COVID Vaccine Tied to Miscarriage Risk
Senators released texts showing Dr. Fauci privately acknowledged a possible link between second vaccine doses and miscarriages while publicly urging pregnant women to get vaccinated.
According to Breitbart, the revelations come from text messages on Fauci’s government-issued cellphone, released by U.S. Senators Ron Johnson (R-WI) and Rand Paul (R-KY). The device reportedly contains over 34,000 text messages and 522 voicemails, with lawmakers currently unable to determine whether any data has been deleted. Notably, only three formal contact names appear on the phone, with most numbers unlisted.
The senators released a text chain on Monday showing a conversation between Fauci, former Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) director Rochelle Walensky, and former U.S. Surgeon General Vivek Murthy. The exchange took place on January 25-26, 2021, and centered on pregnant women receiving the coronavirus vaccine.
In the text chain, Murthy requested data or theoretical reasoning for vaccinating early versus later in pregnancy. He admitted telling pregnant women there had been no evidence of concerning adverse outcomes in trials, though he acknowledged the number of pregnant subjects was likely limited.
Walensky referenced the CDC’s pregnancy registry, while Fauci initially stated there was no data or theoretical reason to prefer vaccinating early versus later in pregnancy. He expressed concern that people, including female healthcare professionals, worried about injecting a genetic vaccine early in pregnancy, calling it a misperception that mRNA could get into genes.
However, Fauci then made a critical admission. In a January 25, 2021 message, he wrote: I asked around a bit more and another issue came up that you need to be aware of. Since many people have significant cytokines storm and fever after the second dose, this theoretically could be associated with miscarriage in the 1st trimester.
Cleveland Clinic defines a cytokine storm as a severe complication of infectious diseases and autoimmune disorders that can cause life-threatening inflammation when the immune system releases large numbers of cytokine proteins.
Walensky responded that this was definitely a good point, especially after dose two. Murthy acknowledged hearing concerns about mRNA causing mutations in developing babies and agreed about the cytokine storm risk after the second dose.
The conversation also addressed how to respond to a World Health Organization announcement advising against pregnant women taking the vaccine. Fauci stated that when data are lacking in pregnant women, one must weigh potential risks against benefits.
He noted that COVID-19 can be serious in pregnancy and that while pregnant women were not in vaccine trials, more than 100,000 pregnant women had been vaccinated following the Emergency Use Authorization with no issues arising, according to his claim. He added that the FDA, ACIP, and ACOG were all permissive for pregnant women to have a choice, and animal toxicology studies did not raise red flags.
Murthy called the W.H.O. statement strong and potentially damaging to public confidence among pregnant women. Walensky agreed and asked if she should flag the issue at the next ACIP meeting.
Despite this private discussion about possible early miscarriage risks from the second vaccine dose, these public health officials continued encouraging pregnant women to get vaccinated publicly. On February 3, 2021—just days after the text exchange—Fauci publicly stated that the FDA had found no red flags about pregnant women receiving the vaccine.
For most women, the risk of losing a child in the first trimester would constitute an enormous red flag. The contrast between Fauci’s private acknowledgment of theoretical risks and his public reassurances raises serious questions about transparency and informed consent during the pandemic vaccination campaign.
The senators and their staff continue reviewing the extensive trove of messages on the government-issued phone, suggesting more revelations may emerge in the coming days and weeks.
