Victoria Sinis, who managed content creators for an OnlyFans agency during the pandemic while seeking to improve her income and reduce hospitality work hours, now travels internationally to expose the dark realities of the adult platform and prevent young women from being drawn into it, according to New York Post.

Sinis told Fox News Digital that her perspective has been completely transformed since embracing Christianity. She now rejects the narrative that sexual empowerment means displaying one’s body for profit or engaging in casual intimacy.

We paint sexual liberation as freedom, but it’s actually the thing that’s crushing us, she stated, adding that rather than empowering women, such activity increases insecurity and emotional harm.

The Endless Pit of Sexual Exploitation

The former industry insider warned that opening the door to unlimited sexual gratification creates an insatiable appetite that becomes impossible to satisfy. She explained that faith traditions maintain strict values around sexuality precisely because they understand the dangers of crossing certain boundaries—once opened, that door becomes very difficult to close.

Understanding sexuality through a faith perspective, Sinis argued, provides the greatest freedom by recognizing its proper purpose and expression.

Destroying Men Through Digital Addiction

Sinis emphasized that platforms like OnlyFans are not only harmful to women but devastatingly destructive to men as well. She witnessed firsthand how a multi-billion dollar industry deliberately targets men’s weaknesses to create addiction, generating profit while simultaneously increasing loneliness, depression, anxiety, and relationship dysfunction among male users.

The more society encourages these platforms, she warned, the more damage is inflicted on both sexes.

Journey Back to Faith

Over time, Sinis felt compelled to perform good deeds to counterbalance the harm she believed she was causing through her work. This spiritual search eventually led her back to a church she had attended as a child, where a sermon immediately resonated with her and reconnected her with Jesus, enabling her to leave the adult industry permanently.

Social Media’s Role in Glamorizing Exploitation

Now speaking globally about her experiences, Sinis identifies social media as a primary mechanism for glamorizing destructive lifestyles and making children idolize careers in adult content creation.

She warned that parents remain largely unaware of the influences shaping their children through unrestricted internet access on phones, laptops, and tablets. Without strong values instilled at home, young people will be shaped by what they see online without understanding its falsehood.

Sinis recounted meeting two 15-year-old students at a private Catholic school in an affluent Melbourne neighborhood who admired an OnlyFans influencer because she appeared happy and traveled frequently. The teenagers now associate OnlyFans with happiness and travel, believing it to be the only path to such a lifestyle.

Same Consequences as Traditional Prostitution

Sinis stressed that OnlyFans is simply the sex industry in digital form, carrying the same mental health consequences and struggles as traditional prostitution, escorting, and brothels. Society must recognize this reality and respond accordingly to genuinely help women exit the industry, she argued.

An OnlyFans spokesperson responded to the criticism by stating the platform was designed to empower creators to control and monetize their content, with individual creators determining what they produce and how they engage audiences. Since 2016, the company claims to have paid out over 30 billion dollars to creators worldwide, including more than 6 billion in 2025.
