Albanian Man Arrested in Thessaloniki for Rape and Attempted Rape of 52-Year-Old Woman
In Thessaloniki, police apprehended a 55-year-old man accused of raping and attempting to assault a 52-year-old woman in her home, following multiple attacks and her brave resistance.
The incident took place in the city center last night when the Immediate Action service was called following the woman’s complaint. According to the 52-year-old, the 55-year-old forcibly entered her apartment and attempted to rape her. However, the woman resisted and managed to lock him inside the apartment until the police arrived.
Additionally, based on her statement, the 52-year-old said that the same man had raped her a few days earlier in the same apartment, threatening her with consequences if she decided to report him to the authorities.
The 55-year-old man, who is Albanian, was taken to the criminal prosecution office on the aforementioned charges.
