Exclusive Photo Shows Illegal Alien Faking Injury to Enter U.S.
A Romanian national who illegally entered the U.S. using a fake ambulance injury has been sentenced to 18 months in prison for defrauding Americans of food stamp benefits.
Marius Catalin Trica, an illegal alien from Romania, was convicted in federal court last November for orchestrating a sophisticated fraud scheme targeting Electronic Benefits Transfer accounts, according to Breitbart News.
What makes this case particularly audacious is the method Trica used to gain entry into American territory. The illegal alien was smuggled across the southern border multiple times, with his final attempt in June of last year involving an elaborate ruse using a Mexican ambulance.
Trica feigned serious injuries while inside the ambulance in a calculated attempt to gain admission to an American hospital, thereby bypassing normal border security procedures. A photograph of the fabricated injuries, obtained exclusively by Breitbart News, demonstrates the extraordinary lengths to which the criminal was willing to go in order to infiltrate the country for fraudulent purposes.

The fraud operation involved multiple co-conspirators who imported skimming devices and counterfeit identification documents into the United States. The criminal network used this equipment to harvest financial data from unsuspecting Americans, then manufactured cloned cards containing legitimate EBT account numbers belonging to citizens.
The stolen benefits were withdrawn from automated teller machines in Los Angeles, California, directly depriving poor Americans of assistance meant to help them purchase food and basic necessities.
The case highlights ongoing vulnerabilities at the southern border and the sophisticated criminal enterprises that exploit weaknesses in border security to prey on American citizens, particularly those in economically precarious situations who rely on government assistance programs.
