Trump Gets Clean Bill of Health After Walter Reed Checkup
President Trump's physician declared him in excellent health with a cardiac age 14 years younger than his actual age and a perfect cognitive test score following his physical exam at Walter Reed.
The health assessment follows Trump’s six-month physical examination conducted earlier this week at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center by Dr. Sean Barbabella, as New York Post reports.
Barbabella wrote in his official memo that the president maintains excellent health with strong cardiac, pulmonary, neurological, and overall physical function.
The physician noted that Trump’s rigorous daily routine, which includes numerous high-level meetings, public appearances, and regular physical activity, continues to benefit his general well-being. Both cognitive and physical performance were rated as excellent.
The doctor confirmed that Trump is fully fit to fulfill all responsibilities as Commander-in-Chief and Head of State.
Cardiac Age 14 Years Younger
A notable finding from the examination revealed that the president’s cardiac age measures approximately 14 years younger than his actual chronological age.
Barbabella also reported improvement in slight lower leg swelling that had been observed during Trump’s previous physical examination. The memo additionally documented scarring on the president’s right ear from the gunshot wound sustained during the July 2024 assassination attempt.
Medications and Cognitive Testing
Trump is currently taking two cholesterol control medications along with aspirin. The physician explained that the aspirin regimen, combined with frequent handshaking, contributes to common and benign bruising visible on the president’s hand.
The president also completed the Montreal Cognitive Assessment (MoCA), achieving a perfect score of 30 out of 30 questions.
