A burglary took place on Saturday, April 26, in the village of Vóni in the municipality of Minoa Pediada, Heraklion. Two young women, sisters of Bulgarian nationality, managed to enter the house and steal the amount of 3,000 euros without initially being detected.

The owners, once they realized the theft, immediately informed the police authorities. Law enforcement quickly located the two sisters, aged 17 and 30, and proceeded with their arrest.

In connection with the same case, the authorities also arrested the mother of the two women. She is charged with neglect of supervision of a minor, due to her 17-year-old daughter’s involvement in the case.
