New York has already installed leadership aligned with Third Worldism, marking a dramatic shift in American urban politics.

For the first time in American history, a significant congressional bloc will openly express hostility toward the nation it represents. The Zohran Mamdani slate’s success in Democratic primaries signals an explicit agenda to dismantle fundamental republican institutions.

Members of Democratic Socialists of America advocate abolishing police, prisons, and borders while seeking to seize the means of production. Darializa Avila Chevalier, the future congresswoman from New York’s 11th Congressional District, co-founded a group demanding the total collapse of the American empire and the eradication of Western civilization. Representative Nancy Pelosi, the former House speaker, initially had opportunities to marginalize Squad members when they first emerged but instead elevated them to important committee positions and celebrated their rise.

If Democrats refused to sideline figures such as Representatives Ilhan Omar and Rashida Tlaib previously, current party leadership appears even less inclined to challenge the socialist insurgency now.

Major Democrats endorsed Graham Platner in Maine despite his Nazi SS tattoo, while the party prepares to send Adam Hamawy to Congress despite his volunteer work for an al Qaeda front organization and years of friendship with convicted terrorist Omar Abdel-Rahman, known as “The Blind Sheikh.”

Beyond outliers like Senator John Fetterman, already distanced from party leadership, Democratic officials offer little resistance. Senator Cory Booker defended the socialist faction, stating the Democratic Party’s strength lies in being a big tent party. Senator Chris Murphy argued that voters choose candidates and party leaders must listen when voters demand bolder positions.

As Washington Examiner reports, those already supporting Electoral College abolition and Supreme Court packing find supporting the elimination of constitutional checks and balances a modest additional step.

Well-funded socialist candidates could claim more Democratic seats in urban areas, potentially including Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries. Even if Jeffries retains his seat, he and other establishment figures will likely move further left to appease the DSA and secure their positions.

Analysis reveals that primary voters supporting the Mamdani slate were predominantly high-earning, young, non-native New Yorkers rather than working-class residents or immigrants. Only seven percent of voters supported Avila Chevalier over establishment Representative Adriano Espaillat. New York’s primary saw low turnout at approximately seventeen percent of Democratic voters citywide.

Historical precedent shows Marxist movements often begin as small bourgeois factions before expanding influence. The Bolsheviks represented only a minor faction in revolutionary Russia before seizing power.

Current momentum on the Left resides entirely with the anti-American faction. Gallup polling shows sixty-six percent of Democrats hold positive views of socialism, with younger demographics displaying stronger collectivist preferences. An Axios-Generation Lab poll found sixty-seven percent of college students favor socialist policies.

With information from Washington Examiner

Democratic primaries across major U.S. cities are electing self-identified Marxists and socialists, potentially reshaping the party with candidates who openly advocate for dismantling institutions.

[122
790,659,8230,3088,209,8231,2638
135
post-9007","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-news","tag-democratic-party","tag-democratic-socialists-of-america","tag-marxism","tag-socialism","tag-united-states","tag-urban-politics","tag-zohran-mamdani","nfg_topic-world
["GET
