Without sufficient numbers of what experts call Conscious Critical Thinkers in leadership positions, the nation faces a gradual drift toward authoritarianism over coming generations. Some observers argue this trajectory is already underway.<\/p>\n<h2>Youth Spend More Time on Social Media Than in School<\/h2>\n<p>Current data reveals a striking imbalance in how teenagers allocate their time.
