Thirteen illegal aliens were apprehended in total, with eight facing federal indictment for using fraudulently obtained personal information.<\/p>\n<p>The U.S. Attorney&#8217;s Office for the Western District of Kentucky confirmed that investigators uncovered the scheme after discovering the illegal migrants had submitted stolen details on their USCIS I-9 Employment Eligibility Verification forms. These forms are required to verify that foreign nationals are authorized to work in the United States.<\/p>\n<p>The indicted individuals include three Mexican nationals: <strong>Daniel Martinez Cruz<\/strong>, <strong>Manuel Martinez Garcia<\/strong>, and <strong>Julio Venture Hernandez<\/strong>. Four citizens of Guatemala were also charged: <strong>Joel Gomez<\/strong>, <strong>Juan Pastor Gonzalez<\/strong>, <strong>Marcelina Juarez-Vicentem<\/strong>, and <strong>Ricardo Lopez<\/strong>. The eighth defendant is <strong>Ana Osorio Louzado<\/strong>, a Spanish national.<\/p>\n<p>HSI Acting Special Agent in Charge <strong>Dennis M. Fetting<\/strong> emphasized that the operation reflects the agency&#8217;s dedication to protecting the integrity of American employment and immigration systems. Two former employees reported that illegal migrants had used their Social Security numbers to work at the restaurant after they had left their positions.
