Consequently, both nations have increasingly turned to long-range strike capabilities as a primary strategic tool.<\/p>\n<p>Last week, Russian President <strong>Vladimir Putin<\/strong> pledged to bolster air defense systems following Ukrainian attacks that ignited an oil terminal in St. Petersburg and struck a nearby naval base, overshadowing a major economic forum in his home city.<\/p>\n<p>Meanwhile, Russian strikes injured nine people in Ukraine&#8217;s Dnipropetrovsk region, sparking a fire at a local marketplace, regional authorities reported. Russia launched more than 20 attacks across three districts of the region using drones and aerial bombs, according to regional head <strong>Oleksandr Hanzha<\/strong> in a Saturday Telegram post.
