According to Junge Freiheit<\/em>, hundreds of residents gathered to protest against mass immigration after the shocking incident, which left one man critically injured. The 30-year-old Sudanese attacker was subdued by neighbors who saved the victim’s life after the assailant had pinned him down and repeatedly stabbed him in the head and neck.<\/p>\n

Eyewitnesses reported that the attacker appeared to be attempting to decapitate the Northern Irish victim. Video footage of the assault circulated widely on social media before Northern Irish police urged the public to stop sharing it.<\/p>\n

Masked Men Storm Homes and Businesses<\/h2>\n

By Tuesday evening, anger boiled over into street violence. In East Belfast alone, approximately 100 masked men reportedly moved through neighborhoods, breaking down doors to force out foreigners. The BBC quoted a pastor who said people were being driven from their homes simply for being black.<\/p>\n

Rioters established checkpoints to search vehicles for asylum seekers. Multiple fires broke out across the city, with at least three houses and an African supermarket set ablaze according to The Telegraph<\/em>. A bus and several other vehicles were also torched. Sky News reported that migrant accommodations were among the buildings that caught fire.<\/p>\n

Pattern of Migrant Violence Shakes United Kingdom<\/h2>\n

The Belfast incident follows a series of high-profile violent crimes committed by migrants across the United Kingdom. In July 2024, a 17-year-old attacker stormed a Taylor Swift dance class and stabbed three girls aged six, seven, and nine to death. Eight other children and two adults were injured, some critically. An official investigation later uncovered glaring failures by authorities.<\/p>\n

More recently, police bodycam footage revealed officers handcuffing Henry Nowak<\/strong> as he lay dying from stab wounds inflicted by a Sikh attacker, who was instead treated as a victim of racism.<\/p>\n

Protests Spread Beyond Belfast<\/h2>\n

The unrest was not confined to Belfast. Demonstrations took place Tuesday in other cities including Southampton, where riots had already broken out last week following a fatal knife attack on a student.<\/p>\n

The Sudanese suspect in the Belfast attack has been charged with attempted murder, weapons possession, and making death threats. Police denied any evidence of a terrorist motive. According to authorities, the suspect received a five-year visa in 2023.<\/p>\n
