After weeks of delays, the United States granted visas to all players just ten days before their opening match, though several staff members were denied entry permits.<\/p>\n

A US government official confirmed to Reuters on Friday that the administration had issued the visas necessary for Iran to participate in the World Cup.<\/p>\n
