The tech giant claimed PragerU &#8220;didn&#8217;t meet its criteria for renewal&#8221; after seven years of partnership.<\/p>\n<p>The de-platforming affected PragerU&#8217;s entire website infrastructure, forcing the organization to rebuild on a new platform over several months. The conservative group has already spent hundreds of thousands of dollars and diverted its technical team from developing new features simply to maintain its online presence.<\/p>\n<p>According to PragerU, Contentful stated it &#8220;was advised to stop working with us because of our values&#8221; after nearly a decade of business relations. The organization believes the real catalyst was its inclusion on the Southern Poverty Law Center&#8217;s so-called &#8220;Hate Map.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>PragerU characterized the map as <em>a political blacklist created by a far-left organization now under federal indictment<\/em>, accused of secretly channeling donor funds to the very extremist groups it publicly claimed to combat.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Marissa Streit<\/strong>, PragerU&#8217;s CEO, told <em>Breitbart News<\/em> that the Department of Justice allegations appear to confirm longstanding suspicions about the Southern Poverty Law Center.<\/p>\n<p>Streit described the alleged fraud as revealing the Center as a leftist political operation and actual hate group masquerading as a civil rights organization. She added that anyone paying attention recognizes its hate map as merely a list of viewpoints the Center seeks to eliminate.<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/cdn.jwplayer.com\/players\/X1fH80iG-o73dHpYz.html\" width=\"100%\" height=\"100%\" frameborder=\"0\" scrolling=\"auto\" style=\"position:absolute;\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>The Department of Justice announced last month it was charging the SPLC with 11 counts including wire fraud, false statements to a federally insured bank, and conspiracy to commit concealment money laundering.<\/p>\n<p>The charges emerged alongside accusations that the Southern Poverty Law Center paid a white nationalist group member over $1 million to serve as an informant, continuing payments even after the nonprofit declared the group had become almost irrelevant.<\/p>\n<p>The House Judiciary Committee recently held a hearing investigating the Southern Poverty Law Center. Representative <strong>Jim Jordan<\/strong> of Ohio declared the organization paid individuals to manufacture the very hatred it claimed to be fighting against among its supporters.<\/p>\n<p>Jordan noted the SPLC paid $270,000 to an individual who helped organize the event where a young woman was killed, referring to the far-left group&#8217;s payment to coordinate transportation for the 2017 Charlottesville, Virginia rally.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Doug Napier<\/strong>, CEO of 1792 Exchange, told Breitbart News Daily last week that corporations must cease using the SPLC&#8217;s hate list as a filtering mechanism. He described the organization as dressing itself as a firefighter while spraying gasoline on the house it ignited.<\/p>\n<p>Napier urged corporate America to remove the Southern Poverty Law Center from charitable-giving programs and sever all ties, pointing out that the Federal Bureau of Investigation already cut all connections with the SPLC last year.<\/p>\n<p>The 1792 Exchange describes itself as the leading supplier of actionable data on corporate bias, working to return companies to neutrality, refocus them on business fundamentals, shareholder value, customer service, and employee treatment.<\/p>\n<p>PragerU warned that the SPLC&#8217;s tactics have endangered people, damaged reputations, harmed businesses, and divided communities.
