A police officer from the anti-crime brigade in Pantin was forced to discharge his service weapon twice on Saturday, May 30, after being confronted by a knife-wielding assailant in Bobigny, Seine-Saint-Denis.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The suspect, a man in his forties armed with two knives, was struck in the hip and chest during the incident, according to Valeurs Actuelles<\/em>. Despite emergency medical services arriving promptly at the scene, the individual died several minutes later. His life had briefly hung in the balance before succumbing to his injuries.<\/p>\n
