U.S. forces conducted an operation on an Iranian ship in international waters off Oman as part of an inspection for weapons transport.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The operation was carried out by special forces of the U.S. Navy and targeted a vessel reportedly linked to Iran. According to information released so far, the Americans confiscated materials related to arms supply.<\/strong><\/p>\n

This move comes during a period of increased tension in the Gulf region, where the U.S. has bolstered its presence to prevent the trafficking of weapons to various groups supported by Tehran.<\/p>\n

Details of the operation<\/h2>\n

Operations of this type are not uncommon. The U.S. Pentagon has announced similar actions in the past, mainly when there are indications that Iranian vessels are transporting components for missiles or other weapon systems.<\/p>\n

In this case, the ship was located in international waters off Oman. To stop it, they opened fire<\/strong> (see the video).<\/p>\n

The special forces boarded the vessel, conducted a search, and removed suspicious cargo. No information about arrests or incidents with casualties has been announced so far.<\/p>\n

The situation in the region<\/h2>\n

The Gulf area has remained a hotspot of tension for months. The U.S. and its allies closely monitor the movements of Iranian forces and ships suspected of supporting armed groups in Yemen, Lebanon, and elsewhere.<\/p>\n

Iran, on its part, systematically denies involvement in illegal arms trafficking and characterizes the U.S. actions as \u201cpiracy\u201d and \u201cviolations of international law.\u201d<\/p>\n

As of now, there has been no official reaction from Tehran regarding this specific incident. U.S. authorities have yet to provide detailed information about the type of material that was seized.<\/p>\n

This development adds to a series of similar incidents recorded over recent months, demonstrating that Washington does not intend to ease pressure in the region.<\/p>\n

Trump\u2019s statement<\/h2>\n

\u201cThe U.S. Navy destroyer USS SPRUANCE intercepted the TOUSKA in the Gulf of Oman and gave them reasonable warning to stop.<\/p>\n

The Iranian crew refused to comply, so our Navy ship stopped them immediately by opening a hole in the engine room.<\/p>\n

Currently, U.S. Marines are in control of the vessel. TOUSKA is under sanctions by the U.S. Treasury Department due to its previous record of illegal activities.<\/p>\n

We have full control of the ship and are seeing what is on board!\u201d<\/p>\n
