Donald Trump has decided to grant an additional ten-day extension to the ceasefire currently in place between the United States, Israel, and Iran. This move comes at a time when tensions remain high, particularly in the Strait of Hormuz region.<\/strong><\/p>\n

According to reports, the American president extended the deadline shortly before it expired. In a post, he emphasized that the decision allows for further discussions while simultaneously warning of severe consequences if compliance is not met.<\/p>\n

Extension of Israel-Lebanon ceasefire<\/h2>\n

At the same time, Trump announced that Israel and Lebanon have reached an agreement to extend their ceasefire by an additional three weeks. Following talks at the White House, he said the meeting of delegations “went very well.” The U.S. will cooperate with Beirut to ensure Lebanon is protected from Hezbollah.<\/p>\n

He also expressed his intention to soon host Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu<\/strong> and Lebanese President Michel Aoun<\/strong>, describing the engagements as “historic.”<\/p>\n

Israel ready for new action<\/h2>\n

Israel\u2019s Defense Minister, Israel Katz, declared that his country is awaiting the “green light” from the U.S. to proceed with a strong response against Iran. He noted that Israeli forces are in full readiness both defensively and offensively, with targets already identified.<\/p>\n

Katz used strong language, saying Israel is prepared to “send Iran back to the Stone Age” if necessary.<\/p>\n

Tensions in the Strait of Hormuz<\/h2>\n

On the naval front, the situation remains tense. Trump has ordered U.S. forces to fire upon and destroy Iranian small boats attempting to lay mines along the maritime route.<\/p>\n

Furthermore, the U.S. seized another tanker, the Majestic X,<\/strong> alleged to be connected with the transport of Iranian oil. The vessel was located in the same general area of the Indian Ocean where the Tifani<\/strong> had been seized earlier.<\/p>\n

A few days prior, Iran had attacked three cargo ships in the Strait of Hormuz and seized two of them. Tehran characterized the action as retaliation for the American naval blockade.<\/p>\n

These developments are unfolding while diplomatic efforts continue alongside military preparations.
