Brittany Boltinhouse<\/strong>, 27, lost her Miss North Carolina USA title following the emergence of posts reportedly using the N-word between 2017 and 2019, but she maintains the decision was politically motivated and is preparing legal action.<\/p>\n

No Apology, No Regrets<\/h2>\n

When questioned by the Daily Mail whether she owed anyone an apology for the posts, Boltinhouse responded with a simple “No. Not at all.” She told the outlet Wednesday that she would address the controversial posts in her forthcoming lawsuit but refused to deny or distance herself from them.<\/p>\n

The former titleholder contended that organizers used the posts as a pretext to punish her for her political and religious convictions. They defined a narrative and I’m here to redefine that now<\/em>, she stated, claiming her constitutional rights had been violated.<\/p>\n

Religious Discrimination Allegations<\/h2>\n

Boltinhouse, a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, told Carolina Journal last Friday that she believes her conservative Christian worldview was the real reason for her dethronement. She described herself as a proud conservative woman and God-fearing Christian who would never compromise her faith or standards.<\/p>\n

She argued that Americans have a constitutional right to hold conservative beliefs and accused pageant organizers of targeting her for exercising that right.<\/p>\n

Organizers Deny Political Motive<\/h2>\n

Blaize Productions, which administers the North Carolina competition and pageants in other states, categorically rejected Boltinhouse’s characterization. In a statement to the publication, a company spokesperson said the decision had nothing to do with her political views, religious beliefs, or protected personal viewpoints.<\/p>\n

The spokesperson emphasized that the organization includes people from diverse backgrounds and political perspectives. The decision to remove Boltinhouse, they said, followed a thorough review of previously undisclosed conduct and public content spanning multiple years that violated the standards expected of a Miss North Carolina USA titleholder.<\/p>\n

New Representative Named<\/h2>\n

Myla Hadley<\/strong>, the pageant’s first runner-up, will now represent North Carolina at the Miss USA competition, scheduled to take place in Miami, Florida, on August 24.<\/p>\n
