{"id":14710,"date":"2026-08-13T20:21:29","date_gmt":"2026-08-13T17:21:29","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/newsfire.gr\/en\/judge-tosses-doj-case-against-harvard-over-jewish-student-safety\/"},"modified":"2026-08-13T20:21:29","modified_gmt":"2026-08-13T17:21:29","slug":"judge-tosses-doj-case-against-harvard-over-jewish-student-safety","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/newsfire.gr\/en\/judge-tosses-doj-case-against-harvard-over-jewish-student-safety\/","title":{"rendered":"Judge Tosses DOJ Case Against Harvard Over Jewish Student Safety"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>US District Judge <strong>Richard Stearns<\/strong>, a Clinton appointee, ruled Thursday that the administration&#8217;s March complaint relied on incidents that were too scattered across time to demonstrate systematic noncompliance with federal civil rights law, according to <strong>Josh Christenson<\/strong> writing in <em>New York Post<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p>In his written order, Stearns determined that the Trump administration&#8217;s amended complaint presented evidence that was <em>too isolated and episodic to support a plausible inference<\/em> of ongoing institutional violations of Title VI at Harvard.<\/p>\n<p>The judge noted that nearly all incidents cited in the government&#8217;s case occurred during the 2023-2024 academic year.
