When pressed by host Kasie Hunt about whether Republican opposition to Blanche extends beyond the publicly vocal senators, Fetterman<\/strong> indicated the resistance appears widespread within the GOP caucus.<\/p>\n

The senator pointed specifically to what he characterized as a $1.8 billion slush fund controversy that has drawn fire from multiple Republican lawmakers. Fetterman claimed he had not encountered a single Republican senator expressing support for the financial arrangement in question.<\/p>\n
